We're currently enjoying a spell of crisp, sunny weather here in the Chiltern hills,
which is turning our thoughts towards Christmas... and some of our clients are now reserving villas for the end of December. What could be more memorable for your family and friends than Christmas in France, or New Year in Italy, experiencing local customs and enjoying your own in a novel setting? One luxury Tuscany villa is Sorrettole: with its large fireplace, formal dining room and cosy lounges, and its proximity to a wintertime Florence, it would make a fantastic venue for a large group. Alternatively, a Provence villa like Mas des Murets near Gordes (pictured above) would be another great choice.

This green and pleasant land…..

A long time ago when I was wealthy and famous (!) I owned a typical Normandy farmhouse with beamed ceilings and beamed frontage. Situated in a tiny commune near Pont L’Eveque where the famous cheese comes from. To me, Normandy spelled out lush landscapes, forests and excellent beaches and still just a few hours from the UK. Perfect for a long weekend!!
